Denbigh Work

Update
I am currently taking pictures of peoples carpets and flooring to sit underneath the sculptures. They will be shown at the Working Title Artists Collective exhibition "Norm" which will be shown in February at Artworks Northwich. You can see details of Norm and other Working Title projects at www.workingtitleuk.ning.com You can see the carpets Blog at

More years that I care to remember ago I did my degree work at Denbigh mental hospital in NorthWales. At the moment I'm in the process of reworking the work and finding time to go down all the corridors I didn't have time for as my degree came to a close. Below are a few images of the current work.

The Medical Staff Sketch-Should the staff go around with their heads in a brown cloud like the brides halo in Duchamps Large Glass.
" The Bride is a mechanical, almost insectile, group of monochrome shaded geometric forms located along the left-hand side of the glass. She is connected to her halo, a cloudy form stretching across the top. Its curvilinear outline and grey shading are starkly offset by the three undulating squares of unpainted glass evenly spaced over the central part of the composition"

Bucket on brown background sketch-
Not working-over complicated and quality of line work is not good.
